Latest FBA expense policy

AMAZON WILL INCREASE FBA FEES DURING THE YEAR-END SHOPPING SEASON.

Amazon recently announced that it will increase the cost of sellers using its Amazon logistics and distribution service during the year-end shopping season. The annual holiday peak delivery fee of Amazon Logistics (FBA) will be applied from October 15th, 2023 to January 14th, 2024.

Amazon told the seller: “This seasonal fee is similar to that charged by other major carriers, and covers the increased performance and transportation operation costs during the busy holiday shopping season. To some extent, this makes sense-we are still waiting for the US Postal Service to announce whether it will impose a holiday surcharge this year, which will be the fourth consecutive year. “

Holiday peak delivery fee will be applied to American FBA, Canadian FBA, FBA long-distance delivery and multi-channel delivery (MCF) goods, except for American FBA goods whose price is less than $10.

When answering the seller’s question, Amazon said that the fee reflects the economy of providing fulfillment services to the seller, and said: “Our goal is to provide a stable and predictable sales environment, and only introduce new rates when absolutely necessary.”
